HOW DOES PRX WORK?
PRX uses a combination of 33% TCA, kojic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Typically, a chemical peel with 30% or more TCA would cause pretty significant peeling and downtime. Also, you would definitely want to stay out of the sun for a while. But with the PRX bio revitalization peel this is not the case. With the addition of hydrogen peroxide it prevents the epidermis (outer layer of skin) from shedding but still allows the fibroblasts in the dermis to be stimulated to produce more collagen and elastin. As we age our body naturally decreases in collagen and elastin production which is why our skin will start to sag. So, you will get all of the amazing benefits of TCA, without the downtime.
