We transferred to Mercy Grace from another pediatrician, and have never felt more taken care of! For the last 1.5 years Dr. Lanre has seen our little one, he is always so friendly and TAKES TIME to sit and talk through any questions or concerns you may have.
He is professional, experienced and has great welcoming personality. We have never had issues with scheduling or calling in for more urgent sick appointments. The staff is always responsive to portal questions as well.
Each visit to their office has never had us waiting more than just a minute. With another on the way I am so thankful we have peace of mind with our pediatrician of choice.

Do not take your babies here . These people have dropped the ball so many times with my kids appointment. There is no accountability taken and the scheduler is horrible . I’ve had the wrong medication sent over for the wrong kid , I’ve had appointments cancelled for kids , and they never have their ahit together . This is a medical office get your stuff together . How do you mix up patients ? It doesn’t matter how many kids is in the household. There is no way we are discussing one child and another child whom didn’t have an apt nor anything is scheduled . When i asked to speak with her supervisor she transferred me to a full voicemail box . And when calling back in (apts still aren’t corrected )Ma or whatever she is is intentionally sending the calls to the voicemail . I was referred to this practice in search for a black doctor . A doctor who’s not even in the room for 10 mins and gives you it looks like , it could be .

If i wanted the it looks like i would phone a friend instead of asking my child’s medical provider . Please save yourself the hassle .

It took them over 5 months to get my kids medical forms from previous although forms were signed and dated first appointment . They dropped the ball no follow up nothing . If I the parent didn’t follow up with the doctor who’s suppose to be caring for my children . They would have never gotten the files .

I've been coming here for years. We really like the doctor. Today, I brought my son for his well-child visit, which I had scheduled back in January, only to be told that I have to reschedule as the "doctor won't be here all week". Conveniently hiding behind a counter that is way too high, from where I can barely hear what she is saying, the front desk staff lady says "we sent you a message". No apologies, just a lot of nonchalance. I just don't have space in my life to tolerate mediocrity from any business. I'll take my money elsewhere. Digging in my phone, I did find a text message, sent just the previous business day, which I missed. If this was my business, and I had to reschedule clients at the last minute, I would make sure that they got the text. In a case like this, I would pick up the phone and call. I would close the loop of communication by making sure I got an answer back from them. Basic stuff. Like I said, we really like the doctor, but this is a private practice, and as such all employees and providers as a team, reflect the level of care they have for their patients. I've tolerated the staff here way too long. Be-bye.

I had my first appt today for just an annual check up and had such a wonderful thorough appointment with NP Candice Moore. She was so warm and welcoming! She spent time with me chatting about health and making sure I had no questions. It was the best experience I’ve ever had in a medical appointment. I will be scheduling my kids annual here next. Highly recommend.

Pediatric Questions

What is a Pediatrician?
A pediatrician is a medical doctor who specializes in the care of children. Pediatricians have undergone special training in the health and illnesses of infants, teens, and young adults. The majority of pediatricians are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics after passing a comprehensive exam.
Pediatricians provide preventive health care for children in good health and medical care for acutely or chronically ill children. They also provide parents with support and advice regarding growth and development, safety and prevention, nutrition, and emotional wellness to foster a lifetime of good health.
Your child should not only see a pediatrician for an illness. It is also important to schedule well-child care exams regularly, beginning in infancy. Also called well-care visits or checkups, these routine examinations provide the best opportunity for the doctor to observe the progress of your child’s physical and mental growth and development. These appointments also provide the opportunity to counsel and teach parents, detect problems through screening tests, provide immunizations, and to get to know one another. Well-care visits are strongly recommended as part of preventive pediatric care. Well-child visits are also a good time for parents to raise questions and concerns about a child’s development, behavior, nutrition, safety, and overall well-being. For reference, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends this schedule for routine well-care visits:
  • 3 to 5 days
  • 1 month
  • 2 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 12 months
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 24 months
  • 30 months
  • 3 years
  • 4 years
And once every year after that for an annual health supervision visit, which includes a physical exam and a developmental, behavioral, and learning assessment.
Immunizations are a series of shots given to children at different ages to help ward off serious and potentially fatal childhood diseases. Ensuring your child receives immunizations when scheduled is the best way to help protect your child from potentially fatal diseases. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, vaccinations have reduced the number of infections from vaccine-preventable diseases by more than 90%. If you’re apprehensive about vaccinations, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Primary Care Questions

What is “internal” medicine?
Internal medicine doctors provide adults with routine primary care and prevention services as well as in-depth care for chronic illnesses. Opposed to only studying a disease’s external manifestations, internal medicine providers, or internists can treat the whole body.
Primary care physicians, or PCPs, are doctors who help you coordinate all aspects of your healthcare–physical, mental, and emotional. They will listen to you, ask questions, analyze symptoms, recommend treatments, and prescribe medications.
It is essential to have a PCP. The role of these doctors is to get to know you, your health history, and to build a trusting relationship with you over your lifetime. The benefit of this becomes lower overall health costs and better management of chronic diseases.
