Lanre Ijaola, MD, MBA, FAAP, serves as Vice President of Outpatient Services and Medical Director of Outpatient Clinics for Instinctive Health, where he leads clinical operations across the organization’s outpatient network, including Mercy Grace Primary Care and Pediatrics in Gilbert and Fountain Hills Primary Care Clinic.
A board-certified physician in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Ijaola has practiced in the Phoenix area since 2008. He and his wife, Dr. Hope Ijaola, founded the practice now known as Mercy Grace Primary Care and Pediatrics. He serves as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and has been an attending physician at the major children’s hospitals across the Valley.
Dr. Ijaola completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx Lebanon Hospital Program) and the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, New York. Before relocating to the United States, he served as an emergency room physician at major hospitals in the Caribbean and the United Kingdom, and practiced General and Emergency Medicine in Nigeria. He holds an MBA in addition to his medical degree and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
