W-hat is this?

Vitamin C is an antioxidant typically found in citrus fruits. Antioxidants are very important because they fight harmful free radicals. Free radicals are unstable atoms that can cause aging by damaging cells. Vitamin C can help combat these free radicals and help improve the skin’s overall appearance.

When searching for a Vitamin C serum it is important to look for the active form of Vitamin C, such as L-ascorbic acid. Try to find 10%-20% L-ascorbic acid. Vitamin C can be hard to stabilize, so try to find one that is formulated at a low pH level and/or with Vitamin E. Also look for Vitamin C serum that is in a dark bottle, ironically Vitamin C is not a big fan of air or light so this dark bottle help preserve it and always make sure to close the bottle.
